None of Lewis's records for "Imperial Records, sold more then 100,000 copies, but cover versions of his songs were successful for other artists. Elvis Presley's version of "One Night was number 4, and Dave Edmonds reached number 1 in the UK with "I Hear You Knocking", in 1970.
